Abstract (EN)
Textile and confection sector constitudes 25 percent of Turkey's manufacturing industry and 6 percent of overall Turkey in employment. It is possible for the textile and confection sector, which has a significant share of this degree for Turkey's economy, to continue this success and maintain its stability by closely following the technology. In order for the textile industry, which contains quite different and complex modules, to adapt to rapidly developing technology, it has to follow many different processes together such as planning, purchasing, finance, customer relationship management, material management, production, sales, project and document management and corporate agenda. For this reason, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) stands out as an important tool that can make positive contributions to both reducing costs and strategic decision-making in increasing company performance. It is possible for companies to continue their activities more effectively and maintain their place in global competition by investing in knowledge-based technologies. In this study, the degree of importance of the modules used in textile companies using the ERP system was determined and the benefits provided by the modules and the problems encountered in the implementation of the system were determined. Within the scope of the research, data were obtained from 84 textile companies operating in Istanbul. Both comparative and 5-point Likert scale questionnaires were applied to managers responsible for the enterprise resource planning system. Analytical Hierarchy Process and Reverse Reciprocal method were used to determine the importance level of the modules. Supply Chain Management, Inventory/Warehouse Management, Customer Relationship Management, Production Planning Management modules were identified as high importance modules. As a result of the analysis of the benefits provided by the system, it was determined that the distribution of costs to the production points, detailed tracking of the orders, monitoring of the quality control results of the obtained product. It has been determined that the most common problems in the implementation of the system are the employees' resistance to the system, problems in the adaptation of the software to the enterprise, the software not meeting the expectations, missing or incorrect entry of product trees and complex use of the system. The basis of the encountered problems were investigated and suggestions were made for the solutions of the problems.
