Balanced scorecard and an application in aerospace industry

In the recent years, organizations realise the importance of intangible assets besides tangible assets and begin to develop new techniques to measure these intangible assets which are mostly based on information. One of the perfomance measurement techniques, which organizations apply in order to think strategically and to ensure sustainable competitive advantage is Balanced Scorecard. Balanced Scorecard organizes the flow of information in the companies and it also compansates the management deficiencies in a short time by revealing them. In this study, Balanced Scorecard is applied to TUSAŞ. By analyzing the current situation, the model used for the next six months and at the end of six months, results were evaluated. When the realizations were examined according to target values , %88 organization scorecard grade was obtained.
