Analysis of the effects of corporate risk management and financial ratios on risk and performance of the company : An empirical study at ISE

Risk is a phenomenon faced by the firm since its establishment. Effects of this phenomenon over the course of the firm's life, both externally and internally will continue.From this perspective, occurring throughout the world, economic, social, cultural and political changes increase the level of uncertainty and risk in the firm's will face. In addition, not only firm?s external environment but also operatiossnal and administrative changes that may occur within the company will increase in the level of the firm?s will face risk and uncertainty. When the firm faced with any one of these situations, get over this situation the optimal loss and turn this situation an opportunity to make profit depends on the correct management of risk. Risks and uncertainties faced by the firm must not manage together, on the contrary must manage separately. Therefore, enterprise risk management is considered an effective means for the firm.In the study, searchs for enterprise risk management?s which has effected by firm risk and performance in a year and period. And also, the dependent variables that search?s, firm performance and firm risk coefficent, has tried to explain by financial ratios, enterprise risk management, changes on firm?s sales ratios, sales cost?s change ratios and status of the firm?s profit and loss which called as independent variables.As a result, this analysis put forward that financial ratios and other independent variables which added this model could use to explane firm?s risk coefficent also firm?s performance.Key words; Enterprise risk management, Financial ratios, Firm risk and Firm performance
