Özet (EN)

In this study, the contributions of the art education projects carried out under corporate social responsibility to the art education in Turkey is introduced by looking into the structure, course, method, target audience and project outputs of them. The population of the study is the art education projects carried out under corporate social responsibility and the sample thereof is the Nokia-Dreams Workshop Project and Eczacıbası 6-14 Years Visual Arts Education among the art education projects developed under corporate social responsibility. This study is a descriptive field study using screening model. As a result of the study: It is found out that the field of art education, which cannot reach the desired point due to the growing population of our country and the insufficiency of the budgets allocated for the educational requirements that increases parallel to the population growth, can be supported by private sector investments, in other words, the budgets allocated by the corporations within the frame of social responsibility. It is seen that by Dreams Workshop Project carried out by Nokia, 30.000 children with inadequate means were provided with educational support in 11 Education Parks in Turkey by the help of 800 volunteers within 3 years and it is aimed to access 50.000 children by the help of about 2500 volunteers in 14 provinces in the period between 2006 and 2009 thanks to the cooperation of Education Volunteers Foundation of Turkey and International Youth Foundation. It is observed that realized by the cooperation of Eczacıbası and The Art and Design Faculty of Yıldız Technical University in 2002 and continued to 2005, 6-14 Years Visual Art Education Project helped the children learn the basic concepts of art and that it carried out activities for improving their sensitivity to the functions of the museums through the exhibitions. In this connection, Eczacıbası Virtual Museum is not only a research institution but also performing an educational function.
