Abstract (EN)

In this research, the effects of institutionalization of companies on business and job performance where the institutions have to continue to operate in increasing competition and the relevancy between institutionalization and performance has been studied. Subsequent to the literature review, under the titles of functional and contextual performance, the effect of job performance over institutionalization has been analysed. For this purpose, 310 employees of 8 corporate enterprises operating in Eskişehir were reached on a voluntary basis. Institutionalization is the communication and interaction in organizations within certain rules. These rules are the processes that reach the society from the individual to the accompaniment of certain rules. The enterprises to which these rules apply are different by creating a difference. This includes discarding oneman management in capturing differences and partly / completely handing over the work to professionals. This holistic content will also affect the performance on an organizational basis and will play a major role in achieving business goals and objectives. We found a weak positive correlation between institutionalization and job performance (r = 0.398). A high positive correlation was found between institutionalization and firm performance (r = 0,609). Findings show that institutionalization is mostly related to firm performance. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that institutionalization had a positive effect on job performance (β = 0.245 p <0.05). In addition, it has been found that institutionalization positively affects firm performance (β = 0.438 p <0.05).
