Investigation of satisfaction levels of young people operating in Kütahya Youth Center by different variables

The purpose of this study; To examine the satisfaction levels of young people working in the Kütahya youth center with the services they receive from the institution in terms of variables such as gender, age, student status, monthly income and marital status. A total of 303 young individuals, 130 women and 173 men, selected by random sampling method who participated in the Youth Center activities in Kütahya in 2024, were included in the study. "Demographic Characteristics Form" was used to determine the descriptive/demographic characteristics of the young individuals participating in the study and "Youth Centers Satisfaction Scale" was used to determine the satisfaction levels of young individuals with the Youth Center. Data were analyzed with IBM SPSS 26.0 Program. T Test for Independent Groups and Single Factor Analysis of Variance were applied to compare scale and subscale scores according to descriptive characteristics. Pearson Correlation Test was applied for the relationship between the Youth Centers Satisfaction Scale and its sub-dimensions. In the research findings, it was observed that the satisfaction levels of young individuals in youth centers differ significantly according to the variables of gender, age, student status, monthly income status, marital status, field of activity in which service is received, weekly participation time in activities and the reason for participating in activities in youth centers. It has been determined that there is a high level, positive and significant relationship between the Youth Centers Satisfaction Scale and the Work, Education and Competence sub-dimensions. As a result, it was concluded that gender, age, student status, monthly income and marital status variables had an impact on the satisfaction levels of youth centers and that there was a positive and high level relationship between the Youth Centers Satisfaction Scale and its sub-dimensions.
