A critical edition of al-A'la, al-Ghashiyah and al-Fajr Surah from Kutbuddîn al-Shîrâzî's Quranic commentary titled "Fethu'l-Mennân fî Tafsîri'l-Qur'ân

This study aims to produce a critical edition and analysis of the commentary on Surahs al-A'la, al-Ghashiyah, and al-Fajr from Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi's work, Fath al-Mannan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an. The study is structured into an introduction and two main chapters. The introduction outlines the research topic, its significance, methodology, and a review of the relevant literature. The first chapter provides an overview of the author's life, the historical context in which he lived, his teachers, students, and the unique features of this exceptional work. Additionally, information is presented about the manuscript copies of the work, focusing on the sections containing these specific Surahs. This chapter also includes a content and thematic analysis of the portion subjected to critical examination. The second chapter presents the critically edited text of the commentary on Surahs al-A'la, al-Ghashiyah, and al-Fajr.
