Abstract (EN)

The Thesis analyzes Kesriye, Serfice and Yanya cities which is situated in Northern Greece in the period of Ottoman classical age. Using of tahrir registers, it is mentioned demografic and economic conditions of those cities, including their vakıfs, history, geographical conditions in the sixteenth century. In this thesis, which is consist of four chapter, first we mention the Ottoman conquest of Rumelia. In the second chapter, we examine demographic and economic condition of city of Kesriye as well as its history, geographical structure and vakıfs. . In third chapter, we revealed demographic and economic changes of city of Serfice including its history and geographical structure throughout sixteenth century. And the last chapter we dwell on the history of Yanya and its population, economic life, vakıfs, castle in sixteenth century.
