The effect of secondry housing on the quality of urban life of waterfront settlements the example of Ayvalik

The cities faced the environment, security, diminishing resources, inequality, etc... issues such as quality of life is directly affected by urban people. The concept of quality of life is the starting point of this study. In the first part of the study, the definition of the problem addressed, the purpose of the thesis and the methods used are described in the thesis. In the second part examined the concept of quality of life, work and architecture of the city in order to associate with the concept of quality of urban life have been investigated, the components of these two elements have been introduced. In the third chapter of the elements after determining the quality of urban life concepts such as sustainability and livability of urban quality of life has been given to the relationship.
