Abstract (EN)
Kızılcahamam and its environment, in the north of Ankara have been selected as a reseach area of the present study. The planned field works have been carried out by the author between May and September of the year 1997; as a result of this survey, totally 1690 homopteran adults have been collected. Later, this material have been preparated and identified by the author, by using the current methods in the laboratory and the literary data obtained. Totally 8 1 genera of 85 genus-group taxa, and 92 species of 126 species-group taxa have been identified definitely. The rest of the taxa recorded have been submitted in the text with their tentative identifications. These cases have been discussed at the relevant chapters. The morphological features, ecological information, definitions of the habitats, food plants obtained during the field works, geographical ranges, and the collecting data of each species have been arranged and submitted according to their generic and family group taxa. In conclusion, among the species found in the district Kızılcahamam, 53 species are recorded new to the fauna of Kızılcahamam, while 22 species new to Ankara Province. Besides, 3 species are probably new to the fauna of Turkey.
