History of Kızılcullu Village Institute

In this study we will examine the Village Institutes , İzmir Kızılcullu Village Institute ( 1937-1952) which is a crucial component of education revolution of Turkish Republic. We will try to evaluate the importance of İzmir Kızılcullu Village Institute in history of Turkish Education and its stages of foundation, development and closing. According to my point of view the idea/projection of Village Institutes is for to seek the fundamentals of human being. Because of it ,history of human and humanity is examined at the first part. In this frame İsmail Hakkı Tonguç was the father of the idea and Ministry of Education Hasan-Âli Yücel was the person who put the idea into practise. Second part is about the development of Village Institutes. Third part is about the transition of İzmir Kızılcullu Male Teacher School to Kızılcullu Village Institute. All in all , in this study ( thesis) period of 1937-1952 has examined such as the previous part of the Kızılcullu Village Institute, operating time span and closed down.
