Özet (EN)
The study area covers the section from the periphery of the North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ) to the junction of Delice River in the south of the Kızılırmak Basin. The fact that this site, which covers an area of 6234.6 km², is located within both the Central Anatolia section in the south and the Pontic Mountains is of great significance in terms of comparatively seeing the effect of various lithological, tectonic and climatic conditions on geomorphological features and development. Detailed geomorphological analyses and Classification of Relative Tectonic Activity of the study area and 51 subbasins were conducted in order to reveal the geomorphological features of the site. The study revealed that there was very high tectonic activity in the river basins within the North Anatolian Fault (NAF) Zone and in the sections closer to the NAF Zone, especially between Osmancık-Hacıhamza and that such high level of activity was reflected on the geomorphometric parameters. On the other hand, the levels of the tectonic activity in the Ugurludağ-İskilip Region in the south were low; however, it was clear that lithological and climatic conditions in this section were also the primary factors in the geomorphological development. The most significant element that affects the geomorphological and hydrographic development of the study area is the Neotectonic period movements, and the simultaneous changes in the paleogeographic and paleoclimatic conditions occurring around the Anatolia. The area is a monogenic topography that characterizes the fluvyal morphogenic region at the same time in the control of lateral and vertical tectonic movements that gain momentum from time to time, where geomorphological formations and metamorphic elements associated with tectonicization from south to north are widespread.
