Abstract (EN)

At the study of "The Analysis of the Phrygian Period Pottery Figures in the Curve of the Halys in terms of Graphic Design", figures of the Iron Age pottery from the settlements in the curve of the Halys, Oluz Höyük, Maşat Höyük, Alaca Höyük, Boğazköy, Pazarlı, Hacıbektaş (Suluca Karahöyük) and Alişar Höyük are examined in terms of graphic design and generally evaluated regarding the Phrygian art, whom immigrates to Anatolia and after 750 BC, formed a powerful state in Anatolia. Generally, the Phrygian political history, sociocultural structure and art have been researched and explained, in a general perspective. The figures applied on pottery, architectural and other ceramic works, which are peculiar to the Phrygian art, are examined by investigating the concrete resources and archaeological data, which bring light to the Phrygian civilization. With the effect of promotional products, which are actually imitations of ancient Anatolian monuments, sold in museum stores, the graphically examined figures are drawn and recolored with more vivid colours through CorelDRAW X5, a computer drawing program. These drawings are applied on daily usage goods in order to draw attention to consumer society. These illustrations have been applied on cloth begs as daily-use properties and have been wanted to introduce by being pointed out the Phrygian figures, each of them are considered as networks.
