Link analizi: Türk sivil toplum kuruluşları internet ağlarında linklerin kullanımı

With the integration of the Internet in all spheres of social, political and economic life, as well as the daily and professional life, the nature of communication, relationships and the nature of the interactions changes. Traditional social networks disappear with time and they are replaced by internet networks. Thus the nodes and links of traditional networks are also changing. While websites are the new actors of modern networks, hyperlinks, which are linking tools between two websites, represent the relationship between actors. Furthermore, methods of hyperlink analysis, new measurement methods have been developed for the web and theses quantitative methods enable social science to comment on the structure of communication networks on the Internet. The strategic use of hyperlinks is in question. This research analyzes the relationship through hyperlinks in the internet networks of non-governmental organizations defending human rights in Turkey. In the first phase the two softwares SocSciBot LexiURL are used to obtain quantitative data. In the second phase the data is categorized and grouped into tables and finally they are interpreted to describe the use of hyperlinks. The results show that hyperlinks are used for informational, collaborative, representative reasons.
