Türkiye'de Amerikan karşıtlığı: Nedenleri, dinamikleri ve sonuçları

The intention of this work is to examine the causes, dynamics and conclusions of the anti-Americanism that is growing and has increased rapidly in recent years in Turkey, a country which has been an ally of the United States for more than half a century. The work first takes into consideration historical dimensions and the anti-American philosophies of the world and evaluates universal anti-American ideology by considering current debates. Along with this, it allows for the investigation of the different definitions of anti-Americanism and its various types and dimensions. Following this, the problems experienced in the relations between the United States and Turkey beginning from the final period of the Ottoman Empire and gradually proceeding step by step to today are explored. Then the dynamics that these causes put into play are inspected. Finally, the ideologically transformative power of anti-Americanism in Turkey's existing political structure is handled and the type with which Turkey's example corresponds among the anti-American movements in the world is evaluated.
