Abstract (EN)

Aristotle characterizes the citizen of his ideal state as the one whose claim to happens and good life consists in his accomplishment of virtuous and noble actions. And, according to Aristotle, the political community, namely the state is the association of those who take happiness and the good life as the ultimate end of their gathering. Being so, in order to achieve this end they commit to virtuous actions. The present study aims at an elucidation of this relation between ethics and politics as it is established by Aristotle. The elucidation of this relation requires an analysis of the bond between action and happiness as it is conceptualized in Aristotle?s works. This thesis takes this analysis as its principal concern.
