Sözceleme kuramının Fransızca öğretmen adaylarının hizmet öncesi eğitimlerine dâhil edilmesi: Bir eylem araştırması

Nowadays, it is generally accepted that the studies in the field of linguistics has a direct effect on the methodologies of language teaching. The French enunciation theory constitutes one of the theoretical foundations of current didactic approaches such as the communicative approach and the action-oriented approach. Introducing future teachers to the fundamental concepts of enunciation theory would help them better understand the structure and functioning of the French language and contribute to their pre-professional training. The main purpose of this study is to describe the process of integrating the enunciation theory into the pre-service French teacher education program. In this study which was designed as an action research, qualitative and quantitative data were collected simultaneously. The study was conducted through the 2020-2021 education year, the winter term in Anadolu University, in "Teaching French Language Skills I" course. The data of the study were collected through "video records", "semi structured interviews", "research journal", "writing and speaking tests", "the post-lesson evaluation questionnaire" and "student assignments " via quantitative and qualitative data collection tools. In this study, an inductive approach was used to collect and analyze data. "SPSS 24" software was used for quantitative data analysis and "NVivo 12" software for qualitative data analysis. The findings obtained from quantitative data showed that teaching of the notions' enunciation theory produced a positive effect on the writing and speaking skills of the participants.
