Abstract (EN)
Broadcasting of commercial TV channels caused many changes in the area of mass communication and this progress has affected the informative role of television as well. These changes have a great influence on the utilisation of music, which can be examined clearly in the example of newscast programs. Although the essential role of music in a newscast program can be interrogated with the idea of rating and story-telling, it can also be interpreted as the technical necessity of TV communication
