Özet (EN)

In this study, the treatment efficiency of synthetic domestic wastewater at different flow rates and in different constructed wetland types was investigated in a laboratory scale constructed wetland area. For two constructed wetlands with Horizontal Subsurface Flow and Free Surface Flow Constructed Wetland, reactors at 0,9 L/h, 3,36 L/h and 9,12 L/h flow rates were installed at laboratory scale, and COD analysis of samples taken every 24 hours. Nitrogen and phosphorus analyzes of raw wastewater and treated wastewater were made and their removal efficiencies were compared. Typha Domingensis (Wicker, Reed Grass) was used as an absorbent in plant selection, considering its high purification efficiency and widespread use in perennial and constructed wetlands. Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus analyzes of the treated wastewater with a COD treatment efficiency of over 90% were made, and their pH and conductivity were also measured. While the yield was between 65-95% in the Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen analysis, it was observed that 14-54% removal in the Total Phosphate Phosphorus analysis was achieved.
