Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, power measurement system design is realized by using LabVIEW and Arduino microcontroller. Power parameters of AC single phase ohmic and inductive loads were calculated by using voltage and current transformer together with Arduino UNO platform which includes Atmel series microcontroller. High frequency sampling, analog to digital conversion, voltage and current RMS values, active power, apparent power and power factor calculation operations are coded in C language in Arduino program. The data obtained were sent to LabVIEW via serial communication protocol. LabVIEW front panel displays the voltage, current and power waveforms as well as the measurement results. With the designed system, the power parameters of single phase ohmic and inductive loads with a maximum active power of 1000 W have been measured with an accuracy of over 95%. With the studies carried out within the scope of this thesis, a low cost, high accuracy measurement system design has been realized compared to LabVIEW compliant ready hardware components and the designed system can be used in the measurement and monitoring of electrical parameters in industrial plants.
