Abstract (EN)

We measured lactate dehydrogenase as well as other biochemical markers in neonates with sepsis. 90 individuals with sepsis and 60 healthy people who shared the same demographic characteristics made up the study's patient population. LDH test findings showed that the patient group's mean LDH was noticed at 660.44 as opposed to the control recorded value of 329.78, and the patient group's mean CRP was reported at 74.77 of the total tested patient samples as opposed to the control group's recorded value of 1.91. The findings of the urea test indicated that the mean blood urea level in the sick group was 28.73 U/L while it was only 3.78 U/L in the control group. The patient group recorded 0.59 mg/dL whereas the control group recorded 0.88 mg/dL according to the findings of the creatinine test, which demonstrated that the patient group significantly outperformed the healthy group in lowering the mean of blood creatinine. The mean D-Dimer and serum ferritin levels of the patient group were higher than those of the control group. This was in compared to the values of the control group. The value of the D-Dimer for the patient group was 459.0 ng/mL, whereas the control group's value was 181.25 ng/mL. While the mean ferritin levels in the sick group were 263.22 ng/mL, the levels in the control group were 43.46 ng/mL.
