Abstract (EN)
In recent years, both domestic and industrial wastes have been discharged to both rivers and stagnant waters without treatment. Therefore, it causes water resources such as natural lakes to become more and more scarce. Heavy metals, which are involved in the aquatic environment by such means, accumulate in increasing amounts in their bodies. Kızılkanat Fish, Scardinius erythrophthalmus (Linnaeus, 1758), the body is short, high structure and lateral flatten. Head is small, eyes are big, nose is round. The mouth has a terminal position and the lips are thin. This species found in the lake of Ladik is consumed as food by the locals. Therefore, the detection of heavy metals in the body of the fish will be important for human health. In this study, the amount of heavy metal will be determined in Kızılkanat Fish in Ladik lake. Seasonally between June 2012 and June 2013 at various stations identified in Ladik Lake, limnological, heavy pollution and Scardinius erythrophthalmus (Linnaeus, 1758), living in this area, were determined by some bio-markers (hematological, biochemical and histopathological). Although no significant toxicopathological lesions are observed in the liver tissue, it is clear that pollutants are present in the water due to lesions occurring in the gill tissue. In all seasons, a decrease in the space between the interfacial lamellae observed in the gill tissues, dissolution in the secondary lamellae, merger in the secondary fins and damage in the cartilage tissue is an indication of the exposure with contaminants. These pollutants have caused toxicopathological lesions in all seasons and gills of all fish.
