Abstract (EN)

In this study, borate particled phosphorescent materials were synthesized by doping lanthanide elements on which recently many studies focused ( Eu, Dy, Nd, Y, Ce). In order to obtain lanthanide activated luminescence materials, easy, cheap, and high yielded combustion method were used. In addition to novel synthesis of luminescence material, the effect of lanthanide concentrations on light emisssion intensity was investigated by using photoluminescence measurements. Structural characterization of the phosphorescent powder was carried out using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) techniques, structural alterations were evaluated by lattice parameters influenced by lanthanide concentration in crystal structure.
