Lari̇ngeal skuamöz hücreli̇ karsi̇nom tanili hastalarda MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR ve PLR değerleri̇ni̇n prognoz göstergesi̇ olarak kullanimi

Objective: To investigate the use of MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR and PLR values ​​as prognostic indicators in patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Method: Patients who were operated for squamous cell laryngeal cancer between 2014 and 2022 in Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery were retrospectively scanned from their electronic and medical files. Patients with a history of chronic or acute disease affecting MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR, and PLR values, as well as patients with data loss or who were found to have died from a cause other than laryngeal cancer were excluded and 84 patients were included in the study. Results: When the MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR and PLR values of the patients were compared in terms of T level, perineural invasion, lymphovascular invasion, recurrence and early-late stage, statistically significant findings were not obtained for all parameters. While all blood parameters were higher in the exitus group, this elevation was not statistically significant. Conclusion: MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR and PLR values ​​cannot be used to determine prognosis in laryngeal SCCs. Keywords: Larynx cancer, MPV, PDW, RDW, NLR and PLR
