(Fabaceae) POPULATIONSBetül AkınFirat UniversityGraduate School of Natural and Applied SciencesDepartment of Biology2006, page: 23In this study, the research material Lathyrus nissolia L. was collected from damagedQuercus woodland in road side of C6 Osmaniye-Fevzipaşa. Inner and outer morphologic andpalinologic properties of the species were investigated.The species is annual and primary root dominates. The root of the speciessurrounded with a few layers of epidermis cells and inner layer of the root was covered witheksodermis consist of a few Layers suberilised cells. The stem in the primary structure hasherbaceus and a quadrangle forms without wings. The covering tissue was made ofepidermis cells with a smouth wall. There were two and three layers collencima cells underthe epidermis. Its leaves are grass-like appearance and parallel vein to the grasses. Bothsurface of the leaves are glabrous. Peduncule has solitary flower. The amaryllis type ofstomata are present on the surface of the leaves. Pollen type is trizonocolparate andornemantacion verrucute.
