Abstract (EN)
In this study, Latife Tekin is known as a postmodern writer who gives postmodernist novel approach works and whose nine works has been examined through mentality, structure, theme and expression functions and then has been focused on the common and different points of the narratives.Latife Tekin?s narratives called Gümüşlük Academy that is published before novellas and after novellas can be divided in to two groups and in all of the narratives there have been some spesific features such as intertextuality, metafiction, insignificant way of structure. Besides in some of Latife Tekin?s narratives, spesific postmodern narrative features can be seen like fragmentation, discountinuity and disconnection as well as past, present, future and the feature of the broken chain of the time element. In the course of examining the text, there are remarkable plots consisted of disconnected rings and consisted of part of stories in a frame story. When it is considered by examining in terms of personal staff two pratogonists are seen. The sub characters who exists in the personal staff provide to be reflected the different characteristic features of the protagonists.Leaving time and space insignificant in most of Latife Tekin?s narratives, the mentality reflects the process between 1970s and 2000s.It is exactly difficult to express the themes of the narratives due to the postmodern features of structures. Neverthless, it is possible to say that the first five narratives are about poverty, last four narratives including Gümüşlük Academy novella take shape around the fact of return to the nature. Looking through the features above, it is possible to say that Latife Tekin?s narratives have important place by reflecting event in our near history and as a political and postmodern narratives in Turkish literature.Key words:1.
