Classical incarnation of Latin percussion

In the conservatory education given in our country, percussion students receive education under the absolute dominance of classical music. On the other hand, symphony orchestras, philharmonic orchestras, operas and ballets, and even classical music orchestras established by private individuals often perform works written by modern composers and in which the motifs of music genres such as Latin, Jazz and Rock can be noticed intensely in classical music. On the other hand, while this is undoubtedly an important parameter that can pave the way for the spread, popularization and even trend of Classical Music in the near future, it has forced the artists who will work in such orchestras to perform musical genres with such motifs at a minimum level many times in the careers of all artists. This study aims to inform percussion players about the effects of each different type of music played on the musicality of the artists, and through one-to-one and distance interviews with multi-disciplinary trainers and artists who have been successful in at least one field in various countries and continents, classical music and beyond. It aims to examine and inform the historical evolution of the synthesis processes of musical genres. The fact that the research data are in English and Spanish, the time differences between countries are so much, and the countries are not close to our country to collect data from primary sources make data collection more difficult.
