Abstract (EN)

Lavender oil, an essential oil, is known to have anxiolytic, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. Products such as lavender essential oils can provide solutions to antibiotic resistance, invasive treatments, side effects and even drug addiction, and therefore have a wide range of use in the food, cosmetics and medical fields. However, direct application of essential oils can cause rapid evaporation of their components and reduce their effectiveness. Therefore, within the scope of the thesis studies, it was planned to load lavender oil, an essential oil, into new carrier systems that can provide longer-lasting effects. For this purpose, preparation of microemulsion and nanostructured lipid carrier systems (NLC) containing lavender oil and in vitro characterization studies were carried out.
