Abstract (EN)

Increasing Energy Efficiency with Thermoelectric Generator Application in LED Lighting Systems Efficiency is the ratio of available power output to total input power. Increasing the efficiency of a system is possible by reducing the losses of the system. In LED lighting systems, the energy given to LEDs is spread to the environment as light and heat and heat loss is the biggest loss of an LED lighting system. LED lighting system designers are willing to pass through active or passive cooling systems to remove heat from the system. However, heat is a type of energy, and it can be improved by designing a system that allows it to be reused. In this study, applications were made to increase efficiency by converting the lost heat energy in LED lighting system to a reusable form by using a special electronic circuit and thermoelectric generators.
