Abstract (EN)
Old Anatolian Turkish is formed based on the Oghuz-Turkmen dialect in an area covering Azerbaijan, Anatolia, Syria, Iraq and the Balkans between the 13th and 15th centuries and is the period of Turkish written language extending to the beginning of Classical Ottoman Turkish. The Oghuz-Turkmen dialect became a written language systematically for the first time in this period. Therefore, Old Anatolian Turkish has a distinctive place in the history of Turkish Language. The period hosted literary figures, mystics and comprehensive works left thereby.
