Abstract (EN)

The manuscript Ledün-nâme (between couplets 57b-114a), written by Murâdî in 1506, is the subject of the present study. Ledün-name has been examined due to its linguistic properties, vocabulary, and including valuable information. The aim of the study is to examine the text which has not been previously studied and to shed light on the development of the Turkish language during the 16th century. The thesis study titled "Ledün-nāme 57b-114a leaves (Review-Text-Index-Facsimile)" has been prepared to reveal the current situation of the period by determining the phonetical and morphological features of the text in order to contribute to Turcology literature. The present study conducted to reveal the characteristics of the manuscript consists of introduction, review, text, and index sections. Introduction contains information on the science of ledun and the manuscript itself. Review discusses the orthography, phonetic, and morphological characteristics of the manuscript. In the Text section, a comparison was made between the copy in the National Library with the archive number 06 Hk 196, known as the "author's copy," and the copy in the Turkish Manuscripts Collection of the Berlin State Library, with the archive number Or. Oct. 2256, a copyright date of 1274 (1857), and copied by Muhammed Mecdî. An index section has been included to reveal the vocabulary of the manuscript. Bibliography section contains a list of the references used during the preparation of the thesis. Following the Conclusion section, the study was completed by including a facsimile of the manuscript in the Facsimile section.
