Abstract (EN)
In this study, Mo, Cu, Pb, Zn and As removal efficiencies of Lemna gibba L. and Lemna minor L. plants in the gallery water were investigated. For this aim, Lemna gibba L. and Lemna minor L. plants were placed in the gallery water of Keban Pb-Zn ore deposits and adapted individually fed to the reactors. During the study period (7 days), the temperature, pH and TDS values of the gallery water were daily measured in real time. These plants were washed, dried and burred at 300 oC‟ for 24 hours in drying oven. Then, these ash samples were send to Acme (Canada) analysis laboratory for the determination of amounts of Mo, Cu, Pb, Zn and As and analyzed by ICP-MS. According to the results of analysis the obtained efficiencies are as follows; % 15 at day 4 and % 7 at day 3 for Mo in Lemna minor and Lemna gibba, respectively, % 87 at day 2 and % 36 at day 3 for Cu in Lemna minor and Lemna gibba, respectively, % 1259 at day 2 and % 1015 at day 2 for Pb in Lemna minor and Lemna gibba, respectively, %628 at day 3 % 382 at day 3 for Zn in Lemna minor and Lemna gibba, respectively, % 7070 at day 3 and % 19709 at day 2 for As in Lemna minor and Lemna gibba, respectively, Key words Accumulation, Lemna gibba L., Lemna minor L., heavy metals, gallery water, Keban
