Neolithic cultures of the Lena-Yenisei region

Our study includes the researches of Kitoi, Isakovo, Serovo and Glazkovo Cultures of Neolithic and Eneolithic/EBA of the lands between Lena and Yenisei Rivers that lie within the borders of Southern Siberia. These researches were examined on four issues: burial customs, pottery, objects and rituals belonging to some cults and genetic data. Within the content of these titles the Neolithic Period cultures of our main region were examined both within its own region and through its connections with the cultures in the neighboring regions inside and outside of Southern Siberia. At the same time it has been tried to follow the traces that can be seen on cultures of our main region after the Neolithic Period in Southern Siberia. In this context, the continuity of the Lena and Yenisei Neolithic Period cultures among themselves and their interactions with other regions were investigated and the archaeological and genetic traces of this interaction were tried to be found. For this purpose, certain archaeological sites in Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia, the Russian Far East and the Northeastern, Eastern and Southern parts of China were investigated. In addition, the cultural and genetic ties between the indigenous peoples of our main region and the Southern Siberia, which includes it, were tried to be determined and the degree of closeness of the detected ties was investigated. For this, the cultural and genetic ties of the peoples of the region with the Kitoy, Isakovo-Serovo and Glazkovo Cultures of our main region, especially from the EBA to the Ethnographic periods in the Minusinsk and Kuznetsk Basins, have been examined through the latest studies.
