In the Leona Caetani's İslamic History book: The Prophet Muhammad

The increase in the relationship between Is lamic countries and the Europe, also expanded the number of those engaged in writing islamic studies about Islam and Prophet Muhammad.There are some non-muslims have tried to examine islamic studies and they can be divided in two groups. First group is far removed partially or completely from religios and political ideas. Second group is more dangerous because despite the clear evidence they diverge the hadith from their original and they do not hesitate to change the truths about Islam. Orientalist Leona Caetani is among the second group. This study gives us conviction that we could say well: Caetani has desecrated about Islam, Islamic history, the Prophet Muhammad and his companions.There is no doubt that Caetani is a christian. We accept this. Wether he is Cristian, European non muslim when it comes to writing something about Islamic history he should not mislead the people. He does not have this right as he is a Euorpean non-muslim. Here in this thesis, we have tried to evaluated what Caetani thinks about our Prophet Muhammad and what is the purpose of his approaches.
