Abstract (EN)
In this study, the characterization of lepidolite and tourmaline minerals and their optical and luminescence properties were investigated. For this purpose, elemental analysis was carried out to determine the contents of the samples Before Thermoluminescence (TL) measurements, samples were heated to remove the natural radiation effect on them. Spectra of Thermoluminescence (TL) in the range of 50-400 ° C and radioluminescence (RL) in the range of 200-1000 nm were obtained In addition, optical absorption spectra were examined in order to investigate the optical behavior range from the visible region to near infrared (200-800 nm) of the electromagnetic spectrum and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and FT-IR analyzes were performed. Through these analyzes, detailed information about the characterization of lepidolite and tourmaline minerals was obtained. According to the literature researches, no inventory including characterization analyzes and thermoluminescence and optical absorption properties of particularly tourmaline mineral were found. In this respect, it is thought that this study can contribute to the creation of such an inventory.
