Financial literacy is a concept that consists of the knowledge and experience necessary to avoid financial difficulties by making optimum decisions in individuals' financial decisions, financial attitudes and financial behaviors. Financial literacy has become an increasingly important topic and has been frequently studied in the literature. In today's technology, it is thought that everyone should be financial literate in order to be aware of financial events. Therefore, it is thought that it would be beneficial to include a financial literacy course in education. It is thought that evaluating the financial literacy levels of university students will be beneficial for students and literature. The aim of the study is to determine the financial literacy levels of university students in Libya. For this purpose, data has collected from 431 university students studying in Libya using a survey method. Frequency, t test and ANOVA tests have conducted with the data obtained from the questionnaires. Financial literacy levels of students have evaluated with financial literacy scores. In addition, various analyzes have been made in terms of gender, age, type of education of the class, education level of the father and mother, whether it is included in the credit card use status, private retirement system and internet banking usage status. As a result of the analysis, it has determined that the financial literacy levels of the students have 40%, and there has a significant difference between the financial literacy level and gender and credit card use.
