The mediating role of psychological capital in the effect of leader humility on employees' service-oriented organizational citizenship behaviors: An application in accommodation businesses in Antalya

The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating role of psychological capital in the effect of leader humility on service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior. The research was carried out in four and five star accommodation establishments in Antalya. The data were collected by means of the questionnaire form and online questionnaire form. In the research, a data set of 355 person was obtained using the convenience sampling method. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between research variables. Simple linear regression analysis and Process macro were used to test the hypotheses. As a result of the research, firstly, through correlation analysis, it was determined that leader humility had a positive and significant relationship with both service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior and psychological capital. As a result of simple linear regression analyzes performed to test the hypotheses of the research, it was determined that leader humility positively affected both service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior and psychological capital. Finally, using the Process add-on created by Hayes (2017) for the SPSS program, it was determined that psychological capital had a mediating role in the effect of leader humility on service-oriented organizational citizenship behavior.
