Abstract (EN)
The thesis was created to determine whether the interaction of athletes with coach which is perceived as a leader, affects their performance level. The sample of the research consist of Professional athletes who work out in Izmır. The athletes which are included in the research, were selected according to the purposeful sampling. The data were analysed by a questionnaire with 325 athletes. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the interaction of the athletes with their coach had a significant positive effect on their perfomance.
