Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the impacts of leadership styles, ethical climate perception and workers' personality traits over work alineation. Thus, in this study, the impacts of transformational leadership and transactional leadership over work alienation and the mediating role of ethical climate perception and workers' personality traits in this impact have been analyzed. In the theoretical part, transactional leadership, transformational leadership, work alienation, ethical climate and personality traits have been respectively described and explained. Next, studies dealing with the relationship among variables have been analyzed and accordingly research model and hypothesis have been formed. The model is designed as a structural equation model (SEM). Data is collected from 240 bank workers operating in Uşak province in order to clarify the hypotheses determined based on the structural equation modelling. Collected data has been subject to analysis through SPSS and AMOS programmes. As a result of these analyses, it has been found out that transformational leadership has a negative impact on work alienation and the ethical climate perception and workers' personality traits have a partial mediating role in this impact. In addition, it has been also found out that transactional leadership does not have a significant relationship with any variables.
