The impact of leadership styles on job satisfaction and organizational commitment

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of leadership style, transformative and influential leadership styles on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study consists of literature search and application sections. A literature search has been done to establish the theoretical structure of the study. In the literature review, firstly the concepts of leadership styles, transformative leadership, interactional leadership and job satisfaction and organizational commitment are explained and defined. In the application part, the data were collected from the employees working in the departments of the Public Health Directorate (community health centers and family health centers) located in the Erzurum provincial borders using questionnaire technique and the returned questionnaire forms were subjected to statistical analysis. As a result, it has been confirmed that there is positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership behavior and transformer leadership behavior, organizational commitment are in the same direction and have a meaningful relationship. It has not been confirmed as an analysis result that the interactionist leadership behavior, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are in the same direction and a meaningful relationship is made.
