Abstract (EN)
In this study, against Mal secco disease caused by Phoma tracheiphila on lemon trees, Salicylic Acid (SA), DL-β-amino-n-butyric acid (BABA), Acibenzolar -S-methyl (ASM) and Fosetyl-Al resistance inducing chemicals and mycorrhizal fungi of Glomus caledonium, Glomus clarium, Glomus etunicatum, Glomus fasciculatum, Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae, their activity on disease formation and plant phenolic compounds was evaluated. In the study that determined the susceptibility of different lemon varieties to Phoma tracheiphila, Kütdiken variety is were determined as susceptible; Enterdonate and Mayer varieties were determined as resistant. Fosetyl-Al, one of the resistance inducing chemicals, completely inhibited the mycelial growth of the pathogen in vitro at a dose of 600 ppm. Also in vivo, it has been the most effective chemical compared to other chemicals, affecting 40% of disease development. This chemical was found to be effective only on the amount of hesperidin. However, ASM was found as the most effective chemical for all phenolics evaluated in the study in the presence of pathogen. Glomus fasciculatum application, had a 60% effect on the disease formation on lemon seedlings. Also, in the presence of pathogen, this mycorrhizal fungus caused the highest increase in the amount of all phenolic compounds examined. For these reasons, it was evaluated as the most effective mycorrhizal fungi on Phoma tracheiphila and phenolics. In this study, promising results have been obtained for the prevention of Mal secco disease caused by Phoma tracheiphila. In the new studies to be conducted on this object, examination of interactions between mycorrhizal fungus and resistance inducing chemicals, can serve a new approach to combating this disease.
