Abstract (EN)
In this study, processing of fine lignite coal middlings mined from Tunçbilek region was investigated by flotation process. The effects of the pulp ratio, kerosene/ vegetable acid ratio, downcomer length, washing water speed and particle size were investigated at the flotation method. As a result of oil-flotation experiments, optimum situations (d80=0.250 mm, 20% pulp ratio, pH = 7-7.5, kerosene / vegetable acid ratio = 1/1, washing water speed = 0, 6 L/min, downcomer length = 40 cm), a product which has 87.15% combustible matter efficiency and 10% ash content was obtained at the applying Jameson Flotation.
