Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the effects of 12 weeks complex motor movements training on some motor skills in high school students. Material and Method: 60 volunteer high school students aged 13-17 who participated in out-of-school basketball exercises in İdil district of Şırnak province were included in the study. Students were randomly divided into exercise (n=30) and control (n=30) groups. While the control group was doing basketball training, the LK group was given complex motor movements (CMM) for 60 minutes, 3 days a week for 12 weeks, in addition to basketball training. At the beginning and end of the study, the hand-foot reaction times, dynamic balance, flexibility and agility of the participants were measured. SPSS 25.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Significance level was accepted as p<.05. Results: It was observed that agility skills improved at the end of 12 weeks CMM tarining in the LK and control groups (p<.05). It was determined that the right and left foot and right and double hand reaction times of the male participants in the LK group, and only the double hand reaction times in the control group were improved (p<.05). It was determined that the pretest-posttest right foot anterior and posterolateral balance means of the women in the LK group were statistically better than the control group (p<.05), but there were statistically significant differences in the pretest-posttest left foot anterior and posterolateral means in both groups (p<.05). Similarly, the left and right posteromedial and right posterolateral mean scores of the male participants in the LK group were found to be statistically better than the control group (p<.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that 12-weeks CMM training improved agility, reaction and balance parameters in high school students (p<.05). Key Words: : Life kinetik, komplex motor movements, motor skills, high-school.
