Özet (EN)
This research seeks the answer to the question ?Are computer assisted experiments effective as much as basic laboratory experiments in physics education for overcoming students' misconceptions ??. Force and motion topic in high school grade 10 physics course curriculum for Natural Sciences was selected for this research.48 grade 10 students studying Natural Sciences courses in Ankara Altındağ Esenevler High School constitute the sample space of this research. Pre-test/post-Test control group experimental design was the research pattern used in this study. Research was conducted by using control and experiment groups randomly selected from grade 10 students studying Natural Sciences. Research data was compiled from pre and post tests on misconceptions. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t Test were used in the statistical analysis of research data. The result of this research shows that there is a difference between the effects of computer assisted and basic laboratory experiment methods in overcoming students' misconceptions. Analyses show that computer assisted experiment method is superior than basic laboratuary experiement method in physics education for overcoming student misconceptions.
