Aim: Along with the developments in new communication technologies, internet usage has reached an addiction dimension especially in adolescence period. Internet addiction, "pathological internet use (PIK)", "excessive internet use", or "inappropriate internet use", is the problem that causes a desire to spend more time on the internet than a person should be; stress and nervous states in cases where he can not spend adequate time on the internet and degradation in the family, work and social environment. According to the International Federation of Social Work (IFSW), social work is the systematic way to help individuals to improve their social functioning. For this reason, it is among the goals of social service that addicted adolescents can be included in social life as healthy adults. Analyzing the effects of relationship between the family and internet addiction during adolescence is important in terms of improving appropriate social service intervention. In this context, the main purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between parents' attitudes and internet addiction levels of high school students to find solutions in the light of the findings.
