Abstract (EN)

With this research the learning styles of different high school student?s are compared, differentations between their learning styles regarding school type, academic achievement and gender are examined. The working group which is studied using comperative investigation model, is consisted of 445 high school students who attend 10. classes in Elazığ. In this research, in order to identifty the learning styles of the students Learning Style Inventory developed by Grasha ? Riechmann is used and in order to identify the academic achievements of them the average of first term marks of all lessons. Data of the research is analysed using independent samples t-test, one way variance analysis (One-Way Anova) and multivariate analysis of variance (Manova). The results of the research puts forward that learning styles of student?s who have high academic achievement and medium academic achievement only differ in independent subdimension. The results of the research put forward that learning styles differ according to school type. As a result, females have more dependent and coopeerative learning styles than males.
