Abstract (EN)

At this study the relation between the ethic leadership and the equity perception of teachers has been analyzed. It is a ?Relative? work of relational scanning models. The ?Ethical Leadership Behaviors and Social justice Perception Scale? which was developed by Turhan (2007) and consists of 84 items was used.Data was collected from 250 teachers at 30 High schools via questionnaire method on the European side of Istanbul. At the study, percentage, frequency, arithmetical average, t test, Post-hoc Scheffe test, ANOVA and Pearson?s co-relation analysis were used. ?05? was accepted as the meaningfulness level for all statistical calculations.According to the results ethical leadership perceptions of the teachers are positive. There appeared statistical meaningful disparities on their demographic properties. A positive and meaningful relation was obtained between all the sub-dimensions of ethical leadership and perceiving social equity. Social responsibility behavior pattern of the directors effects social justice perception the most. And the directors? behavior of forming an ethic school culture and climate affects the social justice perception the least. But it can generally be said that the whole seven behavior patterns relating to the ethical leadership have a great effect on the teachers to perceive the social equity at their schools.Keywords: Ethical Leadership, Social Justice.
