Abstract (EN)

In this study, the perception ways of the high school teachers, working in central Malatya, about religion have been studied on from the point of belief, religious practice, knowledge, consequence and sense, and thus, some evaluations regarding the findings have been made. In the theoretical part of the study, the effects of the family, school and environment that constitute the sociological essence of the need to believe and religious life which affects the ways of perceptions of teachers about religion have been underlined. The attitudes of teachers who undeniably have a potential role in changing the society and at the same time, who are prone to be effected by the values of the society they live in have been subjected to study in five dimensions, which are mentioned as Belief, Practice, Knowledge, Consequence and Feeling. The obtained results are subjected to analyze and then commented on. In the practical part of the study, a questionnaire was applied to high schools teachers belonging to different branches and working in central Malatya.
