The perception of sin among high scholl teenagers (Elbistan sample)

The aim of this study is to examine the meaning of sin perception in religious literature and the sin perception of persons, groups and secty under different factors. By identifying the sin peception of particularly high schooll teenagers, it is to find out what is involved in the sin and what they didn't receive, whether they are affected by the environment. The human being, who is inclined to sinless life by natüre, has a structure that reacts to external effects in one way or another while he is in a relationship with everything that is related to him. Sin perception of the youth; The approach of the parents to the perception of sin remains under the influence of the numerous events and people they encounter every day, the society, socioeconomic and cultural conditions, age and many other factors. Therefore, their perception related to the sin may be changeable. This study consists of introduction and three sections. In the introdoction, the scope and the importance of subject, and applied methods are discussed, and in the first chapter, the meanings of the concept of sin and technical meanings of sin are examined. The concepts of sin in the Qur'an are explained and evaluated in the light of verses and hadiths. In the second part, the disputes in the period of the Companions are mentioned, the emergence of the big sin issue and the approaches of the theological sects to the subject of great sin have been identified. The reason fort his is that the problem of the big sin has a great effect on the formation or shaping of the theological groups. In the third section, the date obtained in the survey study been analysed and the findings and conclusions made in the conclusion section are handled. The results of the survey showed us that the peception of sin among high school teenagers is, in general sense, appropriate for the information we have presented in the theoretical sense, and that those concidered as sin religiouslt are considered as sin by high school teenagers as well. Again, in the perception of sin among high school teenagers, ıt was observed that the belief in the Ahl al-Sunnah (followers of Sunnah) showed themselves preponderantly.
