Abstract (EN)
It is critical for businesses to determine their digitalisation levels and identify their strong and open areas for development in order to make effective decisions. In this context, digital maturity models are important tools that guide businesses. The main purpose of this study is to develop a functional digital maturity model specific to logistics businesses. In the first stage of the research, interviews were conducted with 12 experts in the field and the data obtained were evaluated by content analysis method and the basic dimensions of the model were determined. The indicators to represent the dimensions were created by synthesising the findings obtained from the interviews and the information obtained from the literature review. In this context, a digital maturity scale that can be used practically by logistics organisations has been designed. In the second stage of the research, the developed digital maturity scale was applied to two large-scale logistics organisations and the usability of the scale was tested. The findings show that the scale can be applied independently by enterprises and can produce results that support development in digital transformation processes. Through this scale, enterprises can determine their digital maturity levels, identify their strengths and weaknesses in their digital transformation journeys and create a strategic road map in this direction.
